Ushuaia

The city of Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego province, Antártida and South Atlantic Islands. It´s situated on the north coast and at the foot of Martial Mountains. It is known as the southernmost city of the world. Formerly inhabited by the yámanas aborigines (from its language arises the word Ushuaia that means BAY penetrating to the west) today the city is positioned as a Gateway to Antarctica since it´s located 1000 kilometres far from the Antarctic Peninsula.

The perfect combination of mountains, sea and forest make this destination in a paradise for our senses. Places such as Tierra del Fuego National park with its 63000 hectares of forests, Escondido and Fagnano lakes, the End of the world´s train, invite us to visit each corner and its secrets. The magnificent Beagle Channel, with its penguins, cormorants and sea wolves, constitute a real challenge.
