We will leave from Ushuaia city by bus, going to the north towards an area of valleys on the Andean Cordillera. About 20 kilometers far from the city begins the path that we will follow. First we go through a forest where we will admire incredible views of the valleys of “Tierra Mayor” and “Carvajal” crossing woods of lengas, mountains, hanging glaciers and we will be able to appreciate a great variety of flora and fauna. 

The 4 hours route take us to Esmeralda Lagoon whose name perfectly describes the color of its waters. Sorrounded by glaciers, it´s the ideal place to have your box lunch (not included) and contemplate the natural beauty of its landscapes and views. We return to the city by bus.

Technical Difficulty: It is not necessary to be trained. The route doesn´t have significant differences in height. 

Distance to walk: The walking route is 9 kilometers in total while the total of the tour including land transport is about 40 kilometers.
