The experience begins by flying over the bay of Ushuaia, gaining height to enter the Olivia River Valley, appreciating the majestic Mount Olivia and the characteristic Mount Cinco Hermanos.

In the midst of this white and inhospitable environment, we cross the impressive Carbajal valley, accessing a second mountain range that houses a captivating water mirror, called Laguna Esmeralda for its extraordinary color, as a natural jewel.

The tour continues into the interior of the island of Tierra del Fuego until we reach the head of Escondido lake. From there, we also fly over the Santa Laura, San Ricardo and Margarita lagoons. We observe the town of Tolhuin, in the heart of the island, and we border Fagnano lake, one of the 5 largest in South America.

The Cerro Cornú, one of the highest mountains in the area, will be the gateway to Puerto Almanza, a small village of fisherfolk. There we landed in a small street that runs parallel to the Beagle Channel and that seems to be the only glimpse of civilization among so much natural exuberance. But in the midst of that frozen and sleeping landscape, we are not alone: the hosts of “La Mesita de Almanza” will be waiting for us to make our lunch a unique moment.

La Mesita is a space for tasting products grown in the Almanza area. There Lito and Lore receive us in an intimate setting, with only 18 seats and a priceless view of the Canal. Bivalve mollusks (mussels, chollas and clams), crustaceans (spider crab and spider crab) and trout raised in the area are the main ingredients of the dishes, prepared at the moment and in a personalized way.

After this warm moment, we begin our return skirting the coast, seeing the Estancia Túnel and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, located on a rocky, firm and solitary archipelago in the middle of the Beagle Channel. Do not unbuckle your belt because the adventure is not over yet. Just before arriving at your destination, you will be able to enjoy a unique and unrepeatable moment at the top of the Andes Mountains. In the middle of that extremely cold immensity, you will land on a mountain; You will be able to descend from the helicopter and appreciate an indescribable environment from which the most incredible and southern images emerge with the Andes Mountains right in front of your eyes.
