MEAL
Box Lunch
Pick up from the Hotels at 7 in the morning. We will take the mythical route 40 along the Argentino lake, we will cross Santa Cruz river will depart from Calafate taking route number 11, until we reach the national route 40 then we will continue to La Leona river where we will travel the cañadón for an hour and a half until getting to the ancient “La Leona” Hotel de Campo where we will have the possibility to have a coffee with homemade cakes. From there we will continue along Viedma lake. Before arriving to the village, we will stop at Viedma Glacier Viewpoint from where you can admire a beautiful view of the glacier, the mountains, the emblematic Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
After 3 hours we will arrive to Chaltén. We will visit the information centre, we will continue in the vehicle to Pudu Lodge from where passengers will be able to do free hikes. Passengers will be informed about the different paths and possibilities according to physical conditions and will have maps with marked trails. Passengers will be provided with a box lunch to carry. Around 17 hours passengers will have to meet the rest of the group.
