THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY THE ENTRANCE FEE TO THE NATIONAL PARK
We access to the glacier´s world from route number 15 (the old road of the “estancias”. We will go up a valley that from El Calafate reaches the border with Chile, showing glacial evidence of 20.000 years ago up to moraines of the last decade. Near Nibepo Aike Estancia we will embark on the Guardaparque Fonzo to navigate through the brazo sur of Argentino lake heading the south where we disembark.
A privileged walk to Frías lake, a sailing on zodiac motorboats to cross it and reach the glacier amphitheater. We will have lunch admiring Cubo, Grande and Dickson glaciers. Including the return, the trek lasts 6 hours and 14 kilometers of crossing, with little difference in height and médium technical difficulty. On the way back we will drink mate, a typical argentine drink, enjoying the sunset.
