Activity to be carried out from the age of 12 years old. Minors aged 12 to 18 who wish to do the activity must be accompanied by an adult excercising parental authority.

MEAL
Box Lunch
Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Chaltén, that´s 220 kilometers far from El Calafate. Arrival at 11 where you will be welcomed by the guides and we will receive a box lunch. They are going to explain about the short trails we can done on our own. At 14.50, the rafting activity will start.
Every passenger will be provided with the technical equipment. Once they are ready, they will be taken to the river where the guide will give a technical and safety explanation regarding the activity. Then we will embark and begin the activity.
This experience takes place at Río de las Vueltas. The first zone consists on 6 kilometers of calm water leaving the Fitz Roy behind; it´s ideal to familiarize with the boats, ther river and to practice rowing.
The second zone is the cañadón. Once we avoid the first rapids, we will find exciting and amazing rapids during 9 kilometers. We will finish the descent with 1 kilometer of quiet waters. At the end of the tour, a vehicle will be waiting to take us back to El Calafate to where we will arrive at 20 hours.
