After arriving at the Estancia, each group will be assigned a 4 x 4 vehicle with a specialized driver guide. You will start to climb the Feruglio mountains for 9.5 kilometers that will lead you to the point where you leave the vehicle. Then you will start a 20 minutes walk on a glacial erosion terrain, to get to the Upsala glacier viewpoint, exclusive vantage point to admire the glacier, and there you wiill have time to contemplate Guillermo lake and the imposing Eastern front of Upsala glacier and the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. From here will begin the trek of 14 kilometers through the CAÑADÓN DE LOS FÓSILES, area in which you see a large concentration of fossils with unique features, vestiges of the
last entrance of the sea that were brought to light from the glacial action. The trekking is in constant descent. During the journey you will take a break toe at and continue walking until you reach the valley of the estancia and then head to the boarding beach. The trekking, because of a physical commitment and the difficulty of the terrain is only for people in good physical condition, considering that you will walk on uneven terrain. It is not suitable for people with problems with the sipne, hips, ankles and knees. Once the trek starts, the only way to get back to the estancia is by walking. It is essential to use hiking boots that protect the ankles.
