Río de las Vueltas is one of the most important rivers in the region, cause it takes water from the melting of the glaciers. This tour will allow you to connect with deep emotions: the river, the mountains and the andean patagonian forest, in a different, amazing and funny way. You will enjoy spectacular Fitz Roy´s views, different from the ones you get from the paths. This marvellous river is born in Lago del Desierto, and it descends towards Lago Viedma doing numerous curves through lenga forests and vertical walls. Kayak descent is suitable for beginners as well as experienced ones.

For doing this activity it´s not necessary to have experience in rowing, but you will have to have good physical conditions.

This tour begins at 10.15, as well as the full day option, but this tour goes through half of Río las Vueltas descent just to Bonanza Camping. After rowing one hour and a half, approximately at 13:30, you will arrive to Bonanza Camping where you will have the opportunity to change your clothes for dry ones. You will a coffee with a snack before going back to the town. You will be taken by car to El Chaltén, arriving approximately at 14.30.
